This online Misogyny Awareness course provides you with the knowledge you need to identify and tackle misogynistic behaviour that might be experienced in the workplace.  Sexism and misogyny have damaging effects on women. It’s not just the mental burden of experiencing derogatory comments in-the-moment, but also the long-term impact it can have on their wellbeing, behaviours and life choices.

Overview: Misogyny simply shouldn’t have a place in the workplace. We need to identify and tackle these behaviours so that we can mitigate or prevent the harm that can be caused.

Why take this Misogyny Awareness training course? Misogynistic behaviour has no place at work or in life. 80% of women and 85% of men have witnessed sexism in the workplace, this course has been designed to highlight the affects this form of behaviour has. 10% of employees have witnessed or experienced sexual harassment but 49% of them did not report it, the training explains the importance of misogynistic behaviour being reported and stamped out.

Who is this course for? Whether you work in an office, building site, shop, warehouse, workshop or even an outdoor setting, this course can help you identify the comments and behaviours that are misogynistic, and gives you practical tips on how you can address them effectively and respectfully.

Testing and Certification: At the end of our misogyny in work e-learning course, there is a test consisting of 12 multiple choice questions, for which a pass mark of at least 80% is required. Learners can have as many attempts as is needed to pass the assessment. After passing the end of course assessment learners will be able to download and print a CPD approved certificate for their records.

Course Duration and Accreditation: The misogyny in the workplace course should take 20-25 minutes to complete, but this depends on how quickly each individual absorbs the study material. Progress is recorded throughout by the Learning Management System, meaning learners can take as long as they need. The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
